If you are pregnant or on treatment, speak to your doctor before booking.

What is included and what is not

Measured

  • FSH — The pituitary signal that drives eggs and sperm.Measured
  • LH — The pituitary signal behind ovulation and testosterone.Measured
  • Prolactin — A pituitary hormone best known for milk production.Measured

  • PSA (total) — A prostate protein, read with age and your history.Measured
  • PSA (free) — The unbound share of PSA, read with total PSA.Measured
  • Vitamin D (25-OH) — The storage form of vitamin D, from sun and food.Measured

  • Free-to-total PSA ratio — The share of total PSA that circulates free, calculated from both PSA results.Calculated

What is not included

Does not include free testosterone, SHBG, DHEA-S, cortisol or IGF-1.

What it is for and its limits

Measures total testosterone, FSH, LH, prolactin, estradiol, total PSA, free PSA and vitamin D; the free-to-total PSA ratio is calculated from both PSA results.

What it tells you and where it stops

A normal result does not rule out a disease. An abnormal result is not a diagnosis.

  • It does not include free testosterone or SHBG. PSA on its own is not enough to assess the prostate.

Does not include a medical consultation, diagnosis, prescription or treatment.

If you need a medical assessment

  • If you have difficulty passing urine, blood in your urine or severe pain, see a doctor without waiting.
  • If you are already on treatment or under medical follow-up, speak to your doctor before changing anything because of a result.
