  • How do you achieve the extended expiration dates for your products?
    Santé Labs takes a pharmaceutical approach to product development, including product stability programs following guidelines published in ICH Q1A(R2) that have been adopted by the U.S. FDA, European Medicines Agency, and Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare. Santé Labs can perform real-time and accelerated stability studies, stability under special storage conditions (such as refrigeration), define permissible temperature excursions, freeze-thaw stability, and with certain projects, provide rapid stability screening studies under greater-accelerated conditions (greater than 40°C). Using the correct analytical equipment and a well-planned design-of-experiment (DOE) approach tailored to each product, Santé is capable of identifying optimal formulations to maximize product stability and long-term expiration dates.
